TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

Date : November 25-26, 2000
Thursday 23rd Arrival at Narita Airport :
There are approximately
three hours to the Isesaki City and the Airport, so the IKO will pay the bus expenses from the airport to the Hotel when you arrive, and also from the hotel to the airport when you leave). However, in order to take advantage of the free transportation you must arrive to the Narita airport on Thursday, November 23, 2000. It would be two buses, one will live at noon and the second one in the evening.  The buses will return to the airport on Tuesday, November 28, 2000. Any teams traveling to and from the venue outside these days will be responsible for their own transport costs.   
Friday 24th Judges Seminar in the afternoon (at the hotel)
Saturday 25th 1st tournament day (preliminary heats) (from the hotel to the place by reserved bus)
Sunday 26th 2nd tournament day and sayonara party (Hotel Tokyu INN)
Monday 27th IKO International Meeting (AM), (Branch Chiefs, representatives, Interpreter)
Training for all Branch Chiefs and Instructors (PM) (Maebashi Dojo, by reserved bus)
Tuesday 28th Break up (bus back to Narita Airport)
Trainings (Isesaki Dojo, only a person who desires)

KYOKUSHIN TOURNAMENT RULES

128 male fighters and 24 female fighters will each compete in an open category on knockdown rules.

No protective equipment except groin protection and Brest protection for women is allowed.

The bouts take three minutes with maximum two extensions of two minutes

tameshiwari for the male participants.

Each country sends fighters according to number of members affiliated
