The 2003 Australian Kyokushin Open Full-Contact
Championship, is the one of the highlights of the Australian Full-Contact Karate
calendar.
The event is open to all styles of Karate, TaeKwon-Do and
Kung Fu. We especially encourage all of the Kyokushin groups to participate. It
is our hope that once again we can see all of the Kyokushin Organizations once
again take up the challenge and see who is Australia's true Full-Contact
Champion.
The late Sosai Oyama, rated this event one of the finest event outside Japan.
Be part of history and test your skills against the finest Full-Contac fighters
in Australia.

Application:
ENTRY FEE: $35.00 entry fee must
accompany the application. Under no circumstances will the entry fee be
refunded.
Competitors must complete the enclosed application form.
LATE ENTRY FEE: Entries received after the
deadline date must pay an extra $35.00 late entry fee (total $70.00)
DEADLINE: Entries and entry fee must be
received on or before the last mail on Sunday 28th September 2003.

Protecting equipment:
For males the use of groin guards is compulsory, shin or arm pads are not
allowed.
FEMALES PLEASE NOTE: Only the soft type of
breast protectors is allowed and must not cover the solar plexus. The organiser
will provide breast protectors if required. All breast protectors must be
approved prior to the bout starting, any female found to be fighting in an
unapproved breast protector, will be disqualified.
16 & 17 YEARS DIVISION PLEASE NOTE: Head guards and gloves compulsory - Shin &
instep guards optional
