The Iran International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan (IKO 3), is officially affiliated with and sanctioned by the International Karate Organization (referred to as the IKO 3- Matsushima group). The Kyokushin Karate in Iran, is one of the largest organization in the world. Approximately 50,000 to 60,000. people train Kyokushin Karate in Iran. Iran has 28 provinces, and the IKO 3 is active in 150 cities. The IKO 3 in Iran has more than 7,500. Black Belts, and about 300 instructors.

In Iran the women are very involved in
Kyokushin and also they are very well organized.
Sensei Farzaneh Hosseinkhan, 3rd Dan, is IKO3 Branch Chief and the President
of the Women's Kyokushinkai in Iran.

LANGUAGES:
The official language of Iran is "Modern
Persian". An ancient literary language, Persian was written in the Pahlavi
script before the Arab conquest in the 7th century. A new form written in the
Arabic script developed during the 9th and 10th centuries; this is the basis of
the Modern Persian language used today .
CURRENCY:
The official currency in Iran is the "Iran Rials" (IRR).
