REPORT ON SHIHAN ROMAN VISIT TO WINNIPEG

On Tuesday, January 15, 2008, we had training with Shihan Roman. First was the children class and then we finished with the adult class, we enjoyed the class and the opportunity of training once more with Shihan Roman.

Shihan Roman Szyrajew is the President of the Canadian Kyokushin Organization (IKO 3)  and also the Chairman of the North American Kyokushin Organization.

REPORT ON SHIHAN ROMAN VISIT TO WINNIPEG

On Wednesday, January 31, 2007, we visit Maples Dojo to participate in a join training with Maples Dojo in a class given by Shihan Roman, we enjoy the class and the opportunity of training again with Maples Dojo.
On Thursday, February 01, 2007, Shihan Roman give a children class and also an adult class in our Dojo. We did have a good time with Shihan Roman and we enjoy his teaching. It was nice to see Maples Dojo training with us again under the guidance of Shihan Roman. Thank you Shihan Roman, for your time and for being always ready to share your experience with us. SUMMER TRAINING 2005
DOJO ENTHEOS

We are planning to have a busy summer, and full of activities. In our training we will be covering all the aspect of Kihon, Katas and applications, Kumite. Also we are planning again to have special training where will be covering, relaxation, meditation, weapons, grappling and ground fighting, Self defense, as well as all the aspect related with Kumite and Competition, including all the aspect on been a referee in Kyokushin competition. All the students are invited to participate on those activities. As usual, all the classes and all the activities, are free of charge for all students.
We are planning to have our annual hiking trail this year, so the students who are interested in coming, contact with Sensei Angel Carrasco.

On Friday the 16th, Winnipeg Kyokushin Karate went to visit the Guardian Dojo. The training cover a lot of Kihon and a lot of  sparring for the more advance students. It was a good opportunity once more for the two school to train together and learn from each others. We have a good time and we want to thank Sensei Diego Beltran for the class and for having us in his Dojo. We look forward to the next training together. We will meet next time in our Dojo. OSU!

SHIHAN ROMAN IS COMING TO WINNIPEG ON FEBRUARY 05, 2004.

Shihan Roman is coming to Winnipeg, and all Kyokushin students are invited to train with him.
On Friday, February 06, 2004, Shihan Roman will be conducting a join training with Sensei Angel Carrasco's students and Sensei Diego Beltran's students at Sensei Angel Carrasco's dojo. The training schedule will be as followed:
Children class: 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Adults class:  7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

SENSEI DIEGO BELTRAN IS GOING TO ARGENTINA TO VISIT HIS FAMILY

Sensei Diego Beltran is going to Argentina on December 02, 2003, to visit his family, so while he is there Sensei Angel Carrasco will be teaching every Wednesday on Sensei Beltran's Dojo, starting on December 10, 2003, until February 04, 2004, date in which Sensei Beltran is returning to Winnipeg. If you wish to train on Wednesdays class talk to Sensei Angel Carrasco. We wish Sensei Diego Beltran all the best with his family reunion in South America.

REPORT ON SHIHAN ROMAN VISIT TO WINNIPEG

On Monday, August 18, Shihan Roman give a class in our Garage-Dojo to a few of my students. We have a good time and always enjoy his teaching. Thank you Shihan Roman, for your time and for being always ready to share your experience with us. We look forward to see you again in January, 2004. OSU!

SHIHAN ROMAN IS COMING TO WINNIPEG ON AUGUST 16, 17, 19, 2003.

Shihan Roman is coming to Winnipeg, and all Kyokushin students are invited to train with him.
On Saturday, August 16, Shihan Roman will be teaching at Senpai Mario Acuna Dojo. On Sunday, August 17, Shihan Roman will be conducting a full day join training at the beach with Sensei Angel Carrasco's students and Sensei Diego Beltran's students. On Monday, August 18, Shihan Roman will be training with Sensei Angel Carrasco and his students. If you are interested in training with Shihan Roman, contact your Instructor for more information. 

SUMMER TRAINING 2003
DOJO ENTHEOS

We are in the process of preparing an intensive training for the summer season. We are planning to have our annual hiking trail this year, so the students who are interested in coming, contact with Sensei Angel Carrasco.
We are planning to have a busy summer, and full of activities. In our training we will be covering all the aspect of Kihon, Katas and applications, Kumite. Also we are planning again to have special training where will be covering, relaxation, meditation, weapons, grappling and ground fighting, Self defense, as well as all the aspect related with Kumite and Competition, including all the aspect on been a referee in Kyokushin competition. All the students are invited to participate on those activities. As usual, all the classes and all the activities, are free of charge for all students.
We are planning to have our annual hiking trail this year, so the students who are interested in coming, contact with Sensei Angel Carrasco.

Once again on Friday the 30th, the chief instructor for the Guardian Dojo, Sensei Diego Beltran and his students came to visit our Dojo and train with us. We have a great time together. We did play our traditional Kyokushin basketball, before we started our class.
The class consisted in reviewing some basic concept on Kihon Geiko and Goshin Jitsu (self defence). We cover the concept of Happo-no-Kawashi (Kuzushi) (very important concept to success in Goshin Jitsu),  Also we cover the concepts of Ma-ai, Sashite. We did some drill and aplication to reinforced those import ants concepts. Thank you to Sensei Diego Beltran and his students for the visit to our Dojo.  We look forward to the next training together. OSU!

1) Welcome
2) Jumbi-Undo
3) Importance of Kihon Geiko
4) Goshin Jitsu (Self-Defense)
    -Happo-no-Kawashi (Kuzushi) (Why this concepts is so important in Goshin Jitsu?)
    - Ma-ai
    - Sashite
    - Aplication of these concepts to self defense situation (two man drills)
5) Kuzushi applied to Kumite

MAS OYAMA'S GOLD CUP 2003

Dennis Acuna and Scott Suderman, did very well in the International Tournament "Mas Oyama's Gold Cup 2003" hold in Montreal, on Saturday, March 08, 2003. Scott Suderman got a second place on his Division and Dennis Acuna got a 4th place on the Full Contact Division. Soon we will add some pictures from this tournament. Dennis Acuna and Scott Suderman, students from Winnipeg Kyokushin Karate - Dojo Entheos are going to compete in the Mas Oyama's Gold Cup International Tournament in Montreal on March 08, 2003. They have been training very hard for this tournament and we all wish them all the best

REPORT ON SHIHAN ROMAN VISIT TO WINNIPEG

Shihan Roman Szyrajew, the chairman of the Canadian Kyokushin Karate Organization and also chairman of the North American Kyokushin Karate Organization was visiting Winnipeg for 3 days. Below are the activities he got involved during his visit.

Saturday, January 18, 2003
We meet with Shihan Roman on Saturday afternoon. He did a join training session with both Kyokushin school, Guardian Dojo and Winnipeg Kyokushin Karate-Dojo Entheos. It was a hard training and we want to thanks Shihan Roman for the teaching. After the training, Sensei Diego Beltran, Sensei Angel Carrasco and the students, went to a restaurant with Shihan Roman. While we enjoy the food, we have the change to socialize even more with Shihan Roman. 

Sunday, January 19, 2003 :
Shihan Roman did a teaching class at Maple Dojo.

Monday, January 20, 2003  :
On Monday, Sensei Diego Beltran and Sensei Angel Carrasco meet Shihan Roman in a private training. They analyzed all the new chances of the Katas. This will help to standardize the Katas in Winnipeg, so all the Kyokushin students can execute the Katas in the same way.  Again thank you Shihan Roman for giving up your time to share with us your knowledge in Kyokushin Karate.

Tuesday, January 20, 2003 :  Shihan Roman live Winnipeg, going to the West of Canada. We wish him a safe traveling. Again we thank him for the time spent with us in Winnipeg. OSU!

On Friday the 8th, Winnipeg Kyokushin Karate went to visit the Guardian Dojo. The training have a lot of exercises, Kihon, Idoheiko, Renraku, Katas, and of course a lot of sparring. It was a nice evening where students from both Dojos have the change to get to know better and train together.  We will continue with our training together so the Kyokushin students get the benefits from the experience. I hope that one day all Kyokushin School in Winnipeg left the differences besides and concentrate in  what we all love doing it Kyokushin Karate, so we can all train together.  As a results Kyokushin in Winnipeg will become even stronger. Thank you to Sensei Diego Beltran for inviting us to his Dojo. We have a real good time.  We will meet next time in our Dojo. OSU!
